About us

Creative Design Interiors is a family-oriented business. We believe that our success comes from putting our employees and customers first. We know how important your home is to your family, and our team is excited to help you transform the space where cherished memories are made.

Joseph Freni

President

With over 25 years of hands-on experience, Joseph Freni’s love for construction and design started early- working alongside his father on home renovations as a kid. Raised in a close-knit family surrounded by relatives and friends in the trades, Joseph was naturally drawn to the development industry, where those early lessons laid the groundwork for the design-build expertise he brings to every project.

Rooted deeply in his Italian heritage, Joseph finds inspiration in his family’s traditions and values. His frequent travels to Italy and Europe have fueled a lasting appreciation for classic architecture and design, which he blends into CDI’s work- adding a timeless European touch to modern spaces.

Joseph takes great pride in the dedicated team at CDI, whose talent and commitment are at the core of the company’s success.

Most of all, his wife and four children are his greatest pride and joy, and loves spending time with them.

Eduardo “Eddie” Coelho

Lead Carpenter

For more than 25 years, Eddie has been a driving force at CDI Kitchens. He started out as Joe’s right-hand man in plastering, learning the ropes with determination and a sharp eye for detail. It didn’t take long for his natural talent to shine through, and before we knew it, Eddie had evolved into our go-to carpenter, the one we trust to bring every kitchen to life.

Today, as our Lead Carpenter, Eddie is the main set of boots on the ground, expertly installing cabinetry with precision and pride. But Eddie brings more than craftsmanship to the job site. He brings heart, a sense of character, quick wit, and a knack for keeping the crew laughing which turns even the busiest days into good ones. He is proof that great work and good humor can go hand in hand.

When the tools are put away, Eddie’s favorite place to be is with his wife and their three boys, making memories, sharing laughs, and building something even more important than kitchens, a life well lived.

Emma Grignano

Lead Designer & Showroom Manager

As CDI’s Lead Designer and Showroom Manager since 2020, Emma brings a trained eye and a creative spirit to every project. With a background as a studio artist and a degree in interior design, she blends a natural fine-art influence with technical precision ensuring each space is both thoughtfully conceived and beautifully executed.

Emma’s favorite part of the design process is collaborating with clients to uncover their vision and translate it into spaces that feel uniquely theirs. Her attention to detail and passion for function-driven aesthetics allow her to create environments that are not only stunning, but truly livable.

Outside of work, Emma can be found in a sunny spot painting landscapes, reading, or spending time outdoors with her family- activities that keep her creativity fresh and her perspective grounded.

Natalie Ryan

Senior Designer

As CDI’s Senior Designer, Natalie brings a mix of creativity, positivity, and constant laughter to the team. She graduated from Endicott College with an undergraduate degree in Interior Design and pursued her passion further with a master’s degree in Interior Architecture. For Natalie, interior design is more than just a profession- it’s a way to enhance people’s lives by creating functional, beautiful spaces that truly reflect their needs and personalities. Since starting her career at CDI in 2022, she has been dedicated to transforming homes into places that are not only stylish but also meaningful, making a lasting impact on her clients’ everyday experiences.

Natalie’s favorite part of the design process is seeing her clients’ vision come to life during the installation phase. There’s nothing quite like the moment when the design transitions from concept to reality. Being hands-on with every project and continually learning on the job is what keeps her excited and evolving as a designer. It’s this constant growth and the personal connection she builds with each client that fuels her passion for design.

When she’s not designing, Natalie enjoys spending time with friends throughout New England, exploring the unique charm of each town and city. She also loves visiting her family in upstate New York, where she can unwind and reconnect with her roots. These moments spent with loved ones and exploring new places keep her energized and grounded, fueling her creativity as a designer.

Sarah Baxter

Designer

As a designer at CDI, Sarah brings a calm and creative presence to the team. She earned her bachelor’s degree in interior architecture from Endicott College, where she gained valuable experience through multiple internships both throughout New England and abroad.

For Sarah, design is more than just aesthetics– it’s about crafting spaces that are both functional and timeless. She believes each project should reflect the client’s unique character and lifestyle, with thoughtful attention to detail and a curated approach tailored to their needs. One of her favorite parts of the design process is the initial concept phase, where a client’s vision begins to take shape through collaborative exploration of materials and visual renderings.

Since joining CDI in 2024, Sarah has embraced every opportunity to learn and grow as a young designer. With a strong drive to refine her skills and explore creative design solutions, she brings a meaningful and thoughtful approach to each project.

Outside of the showroom, Sarah finds joy in spending quality time with friends and family, making frequent trips back to her home state of Maine, and exploring new countries whenever she gets the chance. Whether she’s relaxing by the coast or immersing herself in a new culture, she’s always gathering inspiration from the world around her.

Sundays are for football. Married to a die-hard Patriots fan, she’s officially part of the cheering squad.

Sandra Sestito

Accounting Manager

Sandra began her career straight out of high school, building a rich background across corporate roles from graphic design to executive assistance. After dedicating 15 years to raising her three incredible children, she re-entered the workforce as a para-professional and bookkeeper. Today, she flourishes as the Accounting Manager at CDI. Working alongside a talented team focused on transforming homes, Sandra finds deep purpose in helping customers bring their visions to life, starting at the heart of every home, the kitchen.

With deep roots in a family of craftsmen and builders, Sandra has long nurtured a passion for renovation and design. That spirit naturally complements her role in a business that creates beautiful, functional spaces with cabinetry and countertops. Outside the office, she’s happiest cheering on her children at their activities, sharing great meals with loved ones, and savoring food and wine that make any gathering feel special. Her life is rooted in what matters most: family, creativity, and the simple joy of making beautiful things, whether it’s in the garden or around the dinner table.
